Katrina on the Ground Volunteers
NBLSA's trip is scheduled to occur the second week in March (March 6-12, 2006). NBSLA will subsidize the cost of airfare by $250 for a limited number of active NBLSA members and will be partnering with local BLSA chapters for housing. If interested please, contact me your National Attorney General, Joe Briggs, at ag@nblsa.org. I will email you the documents that you need to fill out for the Katrina on the Ground effort. Reimbursement vouchers will be distributed on a first come first serve basis and will be provided upon completion of the trip.
In addition to the other forms discussed above, all the interested NBLSA members are required to be a part of an active chapter, submit a transcript indicating a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, and provide a letter from their local chapter president or community service director indicating participation in a community service activity. All materials should be emailed to ag@nblsa.org or contact me at the same address for an address to mail the items too.
Yours in Service,
Joe B.
