No Jail time...Again (UPDATED)

Ok...I'm sorry but when did it become ok for a person to not go to jail because they "are too attractive" and may not adjust well with the other prisoners? I'm sorry people but this is the second time that someone has committed a felony and been giving time at their personal place of confinement. I am not judging the judgments or the sentences...but I am saying that there seems to be an equal protection argument here. So the next time a young man or woman gets charged with a felony...just remember to plead that they would not survive in jail...they may get off too.

But there is something else that I am wondering...where are all those people that were just picketing outside the trial and conviction of the sex offender last week? I am sure that in Florida the Jessica Lunsford Act would apply but am I looking at this wrong? I thought we said we were getting tougher on sex offenders? House arrest doesn't seem tougher but maybe they are taking a page from California and the Du case

UPDATE I guess the other judge in the case in Marion County didn't agree with the new "too pretty for jail" defense

Ok what the hell is going on ? Blondie gets a "go pass jail" card. Is this Monopoly we are playing here. She is a child predator. She molested a student under her care, what happened to "locale parentis".

Just b/c she fears running into Bertha Butch in the pokey, that didn't deter her from her actions.

Ok, did the sloppy Prosecutors Office get in her sleazy plea bargain that she cannot write a book or sell her movie rights to make some dollars out of this farce ?

I that know some laws are in place for that, but I do not if it is in Florida.
